Verification standards

How NextBias checks profile information.

K-pop information changes quickly. NextBias favors official and primary sources, shows review dates, and leaves uncertain details out instead of guessing.

01

Use primary sources first

Agency profiles, official artist sites, Weverse notices, and artist-linked accounts take priority.

02

Keep group and personal accounts separate

A shared group account is not presented as an idol's personal account.

03

Do not replace missing facts with guesses

If an individual account, role, or other detail cannot be confirmed, the page says so or leaves it out.

04

Show when information was checked

Review dates help readers judge whether a profile may need another look.

05

Avoid disputed positions

When a group does not publish fixed positions, NextBias uses broader descriptions rather than fan-made role lists.

06

Fix confirmed errors

When a correction is supported by a reliable source, the affected information and review date are updated.
