What NextBias stores and what it sends elsewhere.
NextBias does not require an account. Some preferences stay in your browser, Community Notes use a small amount of server-side data, and external media or store enlaces can contact third-party services.
On your device
Grupos guardados and theme settings stay in your browser.
Guardados-group identifiers and your light or oscuro theme choice use browser storage. They are not synchronized to a NextBias account.
Theme preference
Your light or oscuro mode choice is stored locally so it can be restored on your next visit.
Portrait lookup results
Session storage can remember whether an external portrait lookup succeeded so the same request does not need to repeat during that session.
Community Notes
Anonymous notes are filtered automatically.
Group pages can accept short public notes without an account. Notes that pass automated link, spam, abuse, and contact-information checks can appear immediately.
The note text, note type, group identifier, status, report count, and timestamps can be stored in the Community Notes database.
The connection IP is combined with a private salt and converted to a one-way hash for abuse limits. The raw IP address is not stored in the Community Notes database.
Public notes can be reported. Notes that reach the report threshold are hidden automatically and held for optional review.
Do not put contact details, passwords, payment information, private allegations, or other sensitive personal information in a Community Note.
External services
Some content is loaded from other websites.
Pages may request images from services such as YouTube, Wikimedia Commons, official artist sites, retailers, or reviewed profile sources. Those services receive ordinary web-request information such as an IP address and browser headers.
When you leave NextBias for a retailer, that retailer controls its own cookies, analytics, accounts, checkout, payments, and privacy practices.
The correction form prepares a report. With a configured inbox, your email application opens and you choose whether to send it. Without an inbox, the report is copied locally instead.
NextBias does not process card numbers, store orders, billing details, or shipping addresses.
